Make Maihomepage your homepage

 

A homepage is the page that is displayed when you first open up your browser.
Go to the browser you use below and follow instructions.

Safari

  1. Click on Maihomepage at the top of the website or go to www.maihomepage.co.nz
  2. Open the Safari application by clicking on the icon in the Dock.
  3. Go to "Safari" in the top menu bar and choose "Preferences."
  4. Go to the "General" tab at the top of the preferences window.
  5. Click on the "Set to Current Page" button.
  6. Close the preferences window to save the changes.

Internet Explorer 7/8

  1. Click on Maihomepage at the top of the website or go to www.maihomepage.co.nz
  2. Find the "Home" button on the toolbar, and click on the little arrow just to the right of the icon. From the drop-down menu that appears, select the "Add or Change home page" option.
  3. Select the option that says "Use this webpage as your only home page" in the "Add or Change Home Page" that appeared.

Previous Versions of Internet Explorer

  1. Click on Maihomepage at the top of the website or go to www.maihomepage.co.nz
  2. Find the "Internet Options" dialogue box. For Internet Explorer 4 and earlier, this will be located under the "View" menu. For Internet Explorer 5 and Internet Explorer 6, this will be under the "Tools" menu. Also, if you are using IE 5 or 6, you will also have to click the "General" tab on the "Internet Options" dialogue box, as well.
  3. Select the "Use Current" option.

  1. Click the wrench icon (top right). Click "Options"
  2. Click the "Basics" tab in the Google Chrome Options panel. Select the "Open This Page" option located next to the "Home Page" section.
  3. Input www.maihomepage.co.nz
  4. Click "Open the Home Page" located next to the "On Startup" section of the "Basics" tab. Click "Close"

  1. Click the "Tools" menu. Select "Options." A window will open.
  2. Select the "General" button ("Main" button if you're using Firefox 3.5 or higher) at the top of the window.
  3. Hit the use current page button and click OK.
