How Mai Wi-Fi Works
1. Concept
The Mai Wi-Fi Concept is simple. For customers who want to create Internet Cafés or provide public access Internet surfing areas known as Wi-Fi Hotspots, Mai Wi-Fi has taken all the guesswork out. We supply an end-to-end solution consisting of an intelligent Wi-Fi gateway (router), backend server management, Radius AAA, subscriber management, credit card processing and Pre-paid Tickets – similar to prepaid calling cards. With a Mai Wi-Fi-enabled system in your venue, you can offer roaming customers, those with their own Wi-Fi-enabled laptops or devices, high speed internet access. Users are validated for access by entering a Username and Password, by purchasing online with their favourite credit card or having free access through the guest account. Mai Wi-Fi processes the credit cards so you do not need your own merchant account. We sell our pre-paid tIckets to you at a wholesale price and you resell or give them out for free.

2. Where Mai Wi-Fi Fits
Mai Wi-Fi fits nicely in the middle.
A. Your ISP supplies the Internet connection to your location. You arrange this on your own. Any Cable, DSL or T1 connection is sufficient.
B. Mai Wi-Fi provides all the preconfigured equipment, manages the service, provides technical support, monitors the gateways, collect the payments, generates prepaid tickets and sends you the money.
C. Your Customers pay for internet access or just register at Free HomeShare locations
D. You collect the money from Mai Wi-Fi. You pay your ISP for the internet connection. You find or own-your-own
locations and purchase new equipment and service plans from Mai Wi-Fi.
Mai Wi-Fi manages the whole system for you. You do not need any technical knowledge to install and operate the system. Mai Wi-Fi provides you with detailed statistics of all your purchasers. If you had users paying for accounts online with their credit card, Mai Wi-Fi performs the credit card clearing and remits a monthly electronic funds transfer of your net proceeds right to you. Of course if your users have only used prepaid Tickets, you already have your money and no settlement is required.
Sounds too simple? It is. Mai Wi-Fi only makes money if you make money.

Please note that payments we receive from customers using the internet include GST (12.5%). If you are not registered for GST or do not supply your GST number then payments you receive from us will exclude the GST component of payments we receive. For example, rather than 50% commission for prepay tickets you would get 45%.
Mai Wi-Fi hotspots are a open wireless network designed for ease of use. Wireless transmissions, by their nature, can be intercepted. We therefore cannot guarantee the privacy of your data and communications while using a Mai Wi-Fi hotspot service.
Mai Wi-Fi strongly recommends users take measures to secure their devices and Internet communications. We encourage and support user-provided security solutions, including virtual private networks, encryption and personal firewalls. It is the user's responsibility to take precautions and provide security measures suited to their situation and intended use of the service.
Mai Wi-Fi does not provide these solutions to users and cannot guarantee or otherwise be responsible for their effectiveness. Mai Wi-Fi advises that safeguards should be used for any use of wireless technology via any service provider. Mai Wi-Fi will not be liable to you or any other party for any lack of security that may result from your use of the service or your device.
